28 | Grand Rapids Art Museum hosts 2 Studio Sessions!

  • 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: create mixed-media quilt blocks.
  • 1 PM – 4 PM: drop in to make a fabric cityscape.
  • The Art Museum is a great outlet for your creativity and to meet new people!

 

29 | Check out the Festival of the Arts Children’s Art Exhibit!

  • Through June 5.
  • Tour the Skywalk in DeVos Place.
  • See local art from elementary, middle and high school students.

 

30 | Memorial Day Parade

  • 9:30 AM – 1 PM.
  • Parade Route: I-196 overpass going South on Division, ending at Veteran’s Memorial Park.
  • A Ceremony of Remembrance will take place at Veteran’s Memorial Park immediately following the parade.

 

31 | REO Speedwagon & Styx with Loverboy On Tour!

  • 6:45 PM at Van Andel Area.
  • “Close your laptop and change out of your sweatpants” to rock out!
  • Try one of the new restaurants in the area before the show.

 

1 | Rosa Parks Circle Reopens!

  • The official reopening ceremony will take place om June 17, but the park is open to enjoy as of today!
  • Kick things off with Fiesta Wednesday starting at 5 PM.

 

3 | Festival Of The Arts Kicks off Today!

Over 300,000 people are expected to visit the neighborhood for Festival!
