  • NEW professional dance company, Deos, that is using Teresa’s composition for music!
  • Have you checked out the park behind the Catholic Diocese? Peter Wege Gardens are a nice way to get back to nature in the city.
  • Rosa Parks Circle is open now and ice skating starting soon. You can sign up to register now.
  • Noodle Pig is opening and neighbors can get a sneak peek here.
  • Heartside History Murals (this link is from last year. There are now 9 murals!)
  • Kusterer Brauhaus on the West Side
  • Gazelle Sports on Monroe Center open ‘til 7 PM on Thursdays for the Walk/Run Community
  • Barrio Tacos has a great patio!
  • Neighbors can play pickleball at Belknap Park or reserve a court on the rooftop of the Amway Grand Hotel.
    • Grand Rapids hosts the Beer City Open, a world-class Pickleball competition.
  • Thrift stores opening on Division Ave. S!
    • There are four new vintage shops and Zabhaz is open until 8 PM on Thursdays.
  • Taking time to explore new early morning breakfast/brunch options with new remote role!
  • Grand Rapids Gold, being able to walk to a basketball game and sit courtside.
    • The season kicks off on November 10!
  • Pekich Park redesign starting to take shape!

  • Artist in Residence Gallery Show at 106 Division Ave. S.
    • The gallery is open on Tuesdays from 12 PM – 4 PM and Wednesdays from 10 AM – 5 PM.
